Aaron's interest for growing things began when he was in elementary school. He eventually started a small vegetable garden and by the time that he graduated from high school he had decided that he was going to be a farmer. The garden quickly grew (no pun) into a half-acre of mixed veggies. Every year since then Aaron has picked up new pieces of farming equipment as well as new pieces of land. He now oversees over 21 acres of outdoor and indoor vegetable cultivation.
Elan's interest in growing things took off while he was in college. He spent time doing research in a plant biology laboratory as well as working in the field of climate change and food security. These experiences helped shape his view on food, culture, and society. It took 7 years and lots of travel, but Elan is now firmly rooted in his hometown of Corrales.
